The State Department of Administration's Capital Asset Management Division has informed the WBNA that construction work has begun on the Cranston Street Armory and will continue through this summer, fall, and into next spring. Repair work is concentrating on the Parade Street tower. The work includes repointing masonry, repairs of decorative copper work, installing new flashing, and installing a new roof on the west turret. Missing or broken windows on the building will also be boarded up during the work.
