Over 400 people enjoyed our 3rd annual House Tour celebration. Some of these guests had never stepped foot on the west side, and were pleasantly surprised to have finally found us. The WBNA House Tour not only showcases the west side's preserved Victorian architecture. It brings tourism to and awareness about our special neighborhood, which in turn helps support our local businesses. It is also WBNA's largest fundraiser which supports the work of our organization.

This year's House Tour featured the original eco-friendly "tiny houses" – Victorian cottages and smaller homes in the Broadway Armory Historic District. This special selection of homes highlighted green elements like solar panels, environmentally conscious renovations, gardens and rain barrels, and urban beekeeping and raising of chickens.
A third of the houses are owned by architects or interior designers, which gave visitors a special look into the creative minds of designer-owned homes and the solutions they found to transforming smaller spaces into stellar spaces.

Our House Tour Preview Party was also a great time, as was our free House Tour teaser event West Side Revitalized, a show-and-tell of over 35 years of revitalization in the Armory District that included before and after photos of some of our neighborhood's favorite haunts and houses.
