A special joint review meeting hosted by WBNA's Community Development Committee and PPS's Planning and Architectural Review Committee revealed preliminary plans for the redevelopment of 151-159 Broadway, speculative site for CVS and an important "gateway" for our neighborhood. We explore the possibilities of a transformational approach to the rebuilding of the Route 6-10 Connector that could improve quality of life in west side neighborhoods as well as the vibrancy and economic health of the city as a whole. But this vision seems unlikely to happen without an intentional planning process in place that includes community and city stakeholders at the table.
