Summary of Meeting
The February CDC meeting reviewed a proposal for a mixed use building with a grocery store (Urban Greens) and residences at 93 Cranston Street – the site of the former Louttit Laundry building. The project was presented by Ethan Sluter of Bourne Avenue Capital, and Peter Gill and Jordan Durham of Truth Box Architects. The proposal had been modified from an earlier version presented at a previous CDC meeting.
James Kennedy of the organization Moving Together PVD gave a presentation about his advocacy work for an alternate approach to rebuilding the 6/10 Connector.
Lastly Jason Martin from the City of Providence Planning Department presented updates for the Neighborhood Plan. If you haven't done so yet, please complete the City's survey and be heard: English version: / Spanish version
