Summary of Meeting:
The West Side Kids Committee welcomed Terri Adelman of Inspiring Minds, and discussed initiatives to engage volunteers, local businesses and the community in neighborhood schools.
The committee also planned activities for a "Kids Zone" at Dexter Training Ground playground for the April 23 Neighborhood Cleanup. Patrick McEvoy of WBNA's West Side Parks Committee attended the meeting and helped coordinate obtaining materials from the City's Parks Department for the Kids Zone activities.
