Meeting Details:
Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 7:00 - 8:30pm
Summary of Meeting:
The Neighborhood Action and Crime Watch Committee had a great open discussion of community issues. Most of the action at the meeting focused on new initiatives for the summer and fall.
We are very excited about the upcoming meeting in June which will be held on Ellery Street at Major Park. We are hoping to engage more folks in that neighborhood by cleaning up the park and helping resolve issues with several houses that have been left derelict on Chapin street. We will be giving away ice cream cones at the meeting and presenting a new dog waste bag dispenser on the fence which the WBNA and the city have collaborated to install.
Minutes from the May meeting of the Neighborhood Action and Crime Watch Committee can be found here.
Next meeting:
Tuesday, June 28, at 6:00pm with a cleanup at Major Park on Ellery street followed by a walking meeting up to Chapin Street. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN TIME AND LOCATION.
