A full house of neighbors came out to hear the state’s Carole Cornelison give an update on the Cranston Street Armory, but expressed disappointment at the lack of community engagement so far around the findings of consultants hired to develop re-use options for this important state building.

The city's top honor for outstanding teacher goes to Rachel DeNofio, kindergarten teacher at Asa Messer Elementary School, who was lauded last week for her mastery of personalized teaching, deep relationships with students & families, and sharing her talents with educators statewide as leader of a model classroom for differentiated instruction.
